This site does not track you
No cookies are set. No analytics, no social media widgets, no remote fonts: browsing these pages, your browser contacts no server other than mine. That is why you saw no consent banner.
The footer carries two links to my Facebook and Instagram pages. They are plain links: they load nothing and report your visit to no one unless you click them. If you do follow them, you enter those platforms' territory, where their own rules apply.
Sending the contact form is the one exception, described below.
What is collected
Only what you type into the contact form yourself: your name, your email address, a piece reference if you give one, and your message.
Purpose: to answer you.
Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request, or the
legitimate interest in replying to an enquiry.
Retention: as long as the exchange requires, then archiving of
quotes and orders for the applicable statutory period.
To limit automated submissions, the server keeps a fingerprint of your IP address for one hour. It is linked to nothing else and is then discarded.
Who else sees this
The form is handled by this server and nothing else: your message reaches me directly, without passing through any third-party service.
Infomaniak Network SA hosts the site, in Switzerland, a country recognised by the European Commission as offering adequate protection.
Zoho Corporation hosts my mail, on its European servers.
Your data is never sold, shared or used for advertising.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise any of these, write to contact@memoiredefer.fr.
If my answer does not satisfy you, you may complain to the French data protection authority, CNIL.
